Sixth Graders Design and Build Models of a Space Station

Our sixth grade class learned about the challenges faced by astronauts on a long mission. They designed a space capsule and built a 3D model. They wrote a brochure to show the features of their designs. Each group brought in different materials to work with so the final products all looked very different.

First, we listened to a presentation by the school nurse to learn how to take the measurements and what they mean. Robotics Club Virtual Visit of Amazon

 Our Robotics Club is made up of students from the seventh and eighth grades. Here are members of the team with our competition board. The robot does tasks on this playing field. We took a virtual tour of an Amazon Warehouse to research the theme from our competition, Cargo Connect. We are learning more about logistics this season!
